In honor of Valentine’s Day this week I’m posting a loved theme card featuring Simon Says Stamp’s Ornate Love stamp set.
I really adore all the images in this set so I wanted to create a card using them all.
To start I stamped the largest heart several times using MFT’s Poppy ink and the medium heart several times using Lawn Fawn’s Ballet Slippers ink. Next, I heat embossed the smallest heart using Ranger’s Super Fine Detail Gold embossing powder.
I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set onto Simon Says Stamp red cardstock and heat embossed it with Lawn Fawn’s White embossing powder. To add the ellipsis I used my Sakura Gelly Roll 08 pen. To help the sentiment standout I popped it up using foam tape.
For the inside of the card, I die cut a white panel and heat embossed the “Love” stamp in the same gold embossing powder used for the smallest hearts on the front of the card. To tie the front and inside of the card together I stamped two more hearts onto the white panel.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card!
