Pinkfresh Studio’s Friendship Blooms

Hi Everyone,

Can you believe Mother’s Day is around the corner!? Since my Mom loves gardening and flowers I wanted to make her a floral theme card. I really wanted to use Pinkfresh Studio’s Friendship Blooms lovely stamp set which has stunning flowers. This set also includes several different blooms, leaves, and sentiments.

I started by stamping all of the images onto Neenah Solar White, 110 lb, cardstock with Ink on 3’s Blackout Ink. To color the images I used the Pinkfresh Studio’s Friendship Blooms Layering Stencil and several shades of Pinkfresh Studio ink – my absolutely favorite ink. For the purple flowers I used Soft Lilac, Lavender, and Candy Violet inks; for the blue flower I used Sky Blue, Summer Shower, and Seaside inks. I colored the leaves with Aquamarine and Mermaid Cove inks. Lastly, I die cut the images with the coordinating dies.

Background

For the background, I wanted to add a bit of texture so I applied Nuvo’s Russian White Crackle Mousse through Altenew’s Molded Lines stencil to create this lovely texture.

Sentiment

To create the sentiment, I used a combination of Lawn Fawn’s Scripty Happy word die to cut a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock and a supporting sentiment from Lawn Fawn’s Happy Happy Happy stamp set which I stamped with Pinkfresh Studio’s Candy Violet ink.
