Hi Everyone,
Last year I fell in love with Sunny Studio’s Merry Mice stamp set – it’s soooo darn cute! So, this year when I saw Sunny Studio’s Harvest Mice stamp set I was over the moon with happiness. I love these super cute mice and I am so happy that we now have even more of them and more ways to use them!
Images
I stamped most of the images from the Harvest Mice stamp sets onto Neenah Solar White, 110 lb, cardstock with Gina K Designs’ Jet Black Amalgam ink and then colored them with Copic markers. After using the coordinating dies to cut out the images I went over the eyes and noses with a black Sakura Gelly Roll pen. I also added a layer of Nuvo’s Sunlit Sienna Aqua Shimmer Pen to the mice pumpkins.
Scene Elements
To create the focal panel, I die cut a piece of Strathmore’s Bristol Smooth cardstock with one of the dies from Trinity Stamps’ Stitched Card Panels and Windows die set and then blended Distress Oxide Barn Door and Crackling Campfire inks over the panel. I LOVE this new color!
Next, I splattered the focal panel with Ranger’s Dylusions Pure Sunshine and Tangerine Dream shimmer sprays. While the focal panel was drying, I cut a piece of green cardstock from my stash with the grass die from Trinity Stamps’ Scenic Border die set and inked the top edge with Pinkfresh Studio’s Olive ink.
Background Layer
To created the background layer, I started by die cutting a piece of Tonic’s Glazed Chestnut Pearlescent cardstock with the largest die from Trinity Stamps’ Stitched Card Panels and Windows die set. Once the focal panel was dry, I adhered it to this background panel – I love this dark bronze pop.
Sentiment
For the sentiment, I stamped one from the Harvest Mice stamp set in Pinkfresh Studio’s Espresso ink onto the top left corner.
I hope you enjoyed the card! Thanks for stopping by!
