Hi Everyone,
I just adore Neat & Tangled’s Oh Deer stamp set – it’s full of the most adorable deer images – they are all super cute! I also absolutely love the Oak Leaf stamp and die set – so beautiful!
Image and Background
I stamped this sweet little deer onto Neenah Solar White, 110 lb, cardstock using MFT’s Extreme Black Ink and colored him with Copic markers.
To create the design panel I used a piece of MFT’s Primitive Cream cardstock which I taped the Hero Arts’ Woodgrain Stencil to and inked with Lawn Fawn’s Pizza Crust and Doe inks. I absolutely love how this lovely woodgrain background turned out.
Dies
The beautiful large leaf is Neat and Tangle’s Oak Leaf stamp set which I stamped using Hero Arts’ Bronze Glimmer Metallic Ink. Once dry I die cut the leaf using the coordinating die (sadly this has been discontinued). The white circle was cut using a die from Lawn Fawn’s Large Stitched Circle Stackables and the colored leaves were die cut from various colors of cardstocks from my stash using Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Leaves and Small Stitched Leaves dies.
Sentiment
This super cute “blessings” sentiment was created with Hello Bluebird’s Autumn Script stamp set and coordinating die which I stamped with Lawn Fawn’s Walnut ink onto MFT’s Primitive Cream cardstock. Next, I stamped the “wishing you” and “this season” sentiments onto MFT’s Primitive Cream cardstock using Lawn Fawn’s Pumpkin Spice ink.
Finishing Touches
To add a few finishing touches I sprinkled some Pretty Pink Posh’s Expresso Jewels around the card and I went over the deer’s eyes and nose with a black Sakura Gelly Roll pen.
I hope you’re enjoying a lovely week! Thanks for stopping by the blog today!
