Hi Everyone,
I can’t believe how quickly the seasons seem to be going! I just have to sneak in one or two more Fall themed cards before turning my attention to Christmas. I absolutely adore Avery Elle’s Falling For You stamp set. The images are so cute, I mean just look at how adorable this little fox catching the falling leaves.
Images
I stamped a few of the images from the Falling For You stamp sets onto Neenah Solar White, 110 lb, cardstock with Gina K Designs’ Jet Black Amalgam ink and then colored them with Copic markers. After the coloring was complete I went over the fox’s eye and nose with a black Sakura Gelly Roll pen.
Sky and Frame Details
To create a sense of dimension in the sky I lightly ink blended Pinkfresh Studio’s Sky Blue ink on to the design panel using MFT’s Mini Cloud Edges stencil. This adds so much to the background!
Next, I die cut the woodgrain frame out of Lawn Fawn’s Ground Coffee cardstock using the largest die from Hero Arts’ Wood Frame Infinity Dies and then inked the edge with Pinkfresh Studio’s Espresso ink.
Sentiment
For the sentiment, I white heat embossed one from the Avery Elle’s Falling For You stamp set onto a piece of Lawn Fawn’s Ground Coffee cardstock and then cut a banner edge before popping up over the left side of the scene.
Finishing Touches
To add a few finishing touches, I went over the leaves and the tree top with Nuvo’s Midas Touch Aqua Shimmer pen. Next, I added a layer of Ranger’s Glossy Accents to the jar to make it look like glass. Lastly, I went over the dots on the mushrooms with a white gel pen.
I hope you’re having a lovely week! Thanks for stopping by today!
