Hi Everyone,
I have to admit, I love Avery Elle’s Peek-A-Boo stamp sets – they are just sooo CUTE! I’ve recently shared another card I made using Avery Elle’s Cocoa Stand stamp set but for today’s card I’m using images from Avery Elle’s Peek-A-Boo Pets and Avery Elle’s Peek-A-Boo Fair stamp sets.
Images
I started by stamping the Ferris Wheel from the Peek-A-Boo Fair stamp set and three of the adorable characters from the Peek-A-Boo Pets stamp set onto Neenah Solar White, 80 lb, cardstock with Gina K Designs’ Jet Black Amalgam ink and then colored them with Copic markers. After the coloring was complete I die cut the Ferris Wheel and characters with the coordinating dies.
Background Elements
To create the beautiful sky background, I used the used MFT’s Mini Cloud Edges stencil and the following Pinkfresh Studio inks Coral Reef, Peach Fuzz, Lemon Whip, Fresh Pear, Sky Blue, and Soft Lilac to make a rainbow cloudy sky.
Once the sky panel was complete, I popped all the Ferris Wheel and characters with foam tape.
Sentiment and Finishing Touches
For the sentiment, I used one from Avery Elle’s Peek-A-Boo Fair stamp set and die cut it with speech bubble from Avery Elle’s Photo Mat die set (sadly discontinued). I love how the sheep looks like he’s wishing the card recipient a happy birthday!
To add finishing touches, I started by adding a layer of Nuvo’s Midas Touch Aqua Shimmer pen to all the stars on the Ferris Wheel. Next, I added Spectrum Noir Crystal Clear Sparkle pen to the cotton candy to make it look extra yummy. Lastly, I went over all the characters eyes with a Sakura Gelly Roll to add dimension and shine.
Thanks for stopping by and spending a little time today!
