Hi Everyone,
Earlier this summer I purchased Newton’s Nook Designs’ Wagon of Wishes stamp set with the idea of making some cute fall themed cards. But I have to say, this stamp set is really adorable and has images for all types of seasons and events – I just love it! Today, I’m excited to share one of the cards I made featuring this super cute set.
Images and Background
I started by stamping the wagon and apple images onto Neenah Solar White, 110 lb, cardstock using MFT’s Extreme Black Ink and colored them with Copic markers.
Next, I stamped MFT’s All Lined Up Background stamp onto a piece of MFT’s Primitive Cream cardstock with Lawn Fawn’s Pizza Crust ink. I love using this lovely stamp for fall backgrounds.
Dies
For this card, I knew I wanted to use one of Lawn Fawn’s Outside In Stitched Apple Stackables die. After die cutting the super cute apple, steam, and leaf I inked the edges with Distress Oxide inks. Next, I cut a beautiful frame using one of Avery Elle’s Wonky Scalloped Frames dies and inked the edges with Distress Oxide ink. Then, I used several shades of color cardstock from my stash to cut leaves using Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Leaves and Small Stitched Leaves dies and inked there edges with Distress Oxide inks.
Sentiments
The super cute “blessings” sentiment was created with Hello Bluebird’s Autumn Script stamp set and coordinating die which I stamped with Lawn Fawn’s Sunflower ink. Next, I stamped the “autumn” sentiment onto white cardstock using Lawn Fawn’s Pumpkin Spice ink.
Finishing Touches
To add a few finishing touches I use Nuvo’s Midas Touch Aqua Shimmer pen on the wagon and handle. Next, I covered the apples with Glossy Accents and went over the crow’s eye with a black Sakura Gelly Roll pen. Lastly, I added a few of Pretty Pink Posh’s Marigold Jewels around the card for a bit more shine.
I hope you’re enjoying a lovely week! Thanks for stopping by the blog today!
