Hi Everyone,
I love all of The Greetery products but their layering stamps are amazing – they are so easy to use and create such beautiful results! I just had to snatch up The Greetery’s Winter Sketches stamp set since I knew it would pair beautifully with Taylored Expressions’ Layer It Cardinal die set. I love the how the card turned out!
Cardinal Die
I created the lovely Cardinal with Taylored Expressions’ Layer It Cardinal die set using two shades of red cardstock and a black cardstock from my stash. Before adhering the darker red cardstock I inked the edges with Lawn Fawn’s Cranberry ink. Once all the layers were adhered I added a single dot of Ranger’s Glossy Accents to the Cardinal’s eye to create dimension.

To create the beautiful branch the Cardinal is sitting on I used The Greetery’s Winter Sketches stamp set. This is a gorgeous layering stamp set which is super easy to use! I inked each layer with the following colors Lawn Fawn’s Chili Pepper, Cranberry, Doe, and Walnut inks as well as Simon Says Stamp’s Goldenlocks and Laurel Green inks.
Background
For the background, I inked the edges of a piece of Lawn Fawn’s Storm Cloud cardstock with Lawn Fawn’s Soot ink. Next, I applied Picket Fence Studios’ Snowdrop White Paper Glaze through Echo Park’s Warm and Cozy stencil. You can’t get this stencil anymore but Echo Park’s Jingle Bell Snowflakes stencil is similar. I gotta say I love this paste it’s gorgeous!
Thank you for stopping by today! Stay safe and healthy!
