Hi Everyone!
I must admit, I’m more than a little addicted to Concord & 9th’s Turnabout stamps. They are just so fun and make such neat and unique patterns so quickly that I can’t help but love them! When I saw Concord & 9th’s Cool Treats Turnabout stamp I simply had to have it – I mean how cute are these frozen treats!
The other great thing about Concord & 9th’s turnabout stamps is that they create great focal points so you can make quick and easy cards simply. My card today has very few embellishments just for this reason, well, and because I wanted to show off this super cute background.
Background
I stamped the adorable Cool Treats Turnabout onto Neenah Solar White, 80 lb, cardstock using Lawn Fawn’s Butter and Minty Fresh inks and Simon Says Stamp’s Apricot and Lake Shores inks. I have to say, I absolutely love these colors together and will have to use them again – so lovely!
Embellishments and Sentiment
I wanted to use embellishments and a sentiment that complemented the background so I pulled out my Spellbinders’ Super Chill Die Cut Shapes Set. I just love how these embellishments match the colors of the background perfectly – don’t you love when that happens by accident but it looks like you planed it. I popped up all the embellishments and the sentiment using foam tape to help the standout a bit from the background.
And that’s it! Talk about a quick and easy card and yet it looks so fun!
I hope you enjoyed this card. Thanks for stopping by!
