Hi Everyone,
Well, it’s no shock that I love floral stamps and Sunny Studio’s Everything’s Rosy stamp set is one of the prettiest for creating realistic and beautiful roses in a snap. Here are a few links to other floral cards I’ve made so far this year Pinkfresh Studio’s Lovely Blossoms, Sunny Studio’s Pink Peonies, and Altenew’s Dainty Bouquet.
Images
To create these beautiful roses I stamped the buds from Everything’s Rosy with the help of my MISTI using Altenew’s Pink Diamond, Pinkalicious, Rubellite, Razzleberry, and Razzleberry inks. Yep, you read that right, I used Razzleberry twice since the roses require five inks – I just waited for the first stamping with Razzleberry to dry before stamping with it again. For the leaves, I used Altenew’s Bamboo, Parrot, and Olive inks. After all the stamping was complete I used the coordinating dies to cut out the flower and leaves.
Background
I created the background by using the smallest stencil in Taylored Expressions’ Oval Masking Stencils set to mask everything but an oval in the center of the card. Next, I used Deco Foil’s Champagne Mist Metallix Gel and my Deco Foil Stencil Pal to create a smooth golden oval in the center of the card. Once, dry I lightly inked the edges of the card with Altenew’s Pink Diamond ink.
Sentiment and Finishing Touches
For the sentiment, I once again used my new favorite The Ton’s Easy Expressions stamp set. To create the two tone sentiment I heat embossed the first part with Lawn Fawn’s Gold Embossing Powder and then stamped the second with Altenew’s Rubellite ink.
Finally, as a last embellishment I sprinkled Studio Katia’s Vintage Shimmer Pearls around the card – these are absolutely spectacular IRL!
