Hi Everyone,
Flowers just make me happy, in real life and as stamp sets too, and Altenew makes some of the most beautiful. So, not surprisingly I feel head over heels in love with Altenew’s Dainty Bouquet stamp set.
Image and Inks
Since this is a layering stamp set I started by selecting what colors of inks I wanted to use. For this image, I selected: Altenew’s Silver Lake, Pink Pearl, Coral Bliss, Mountain Mist, and Volcanic Lake. After selecting the ink colors I followed the directions closely and stamped each layer onto a piece of Neenah Solar White, 110 lb, cardstock.
Next, I lightly inked the top and right side of the card with Altenew’s Silver Lake ink. Doing this helps direct the focus towards the flower.
Sentiment
After stamping the lovely flower I wanted to use a delicate sentiment, so, I selected a sentiment from Altenew’s Handpicked Bouquet stamp set and stamped it onto the card using Altenew’s Volcanic Lake ink.
Finishing Touches
It still felt like the card needed something so I selected a soft green glitter cardstock from my stash and adhered the focal panel to it. Next, I added some Buttons Galore’s Mermaid Sparkletz jewels around the flower and sentiment. I love how it came out!
I hope you enjoyed this clean and simple card. Thanks for stopping by!
